Nobody knows you and nobody gives a damn.

There a very few musicians who I fall in love with instantly and fewer still, who truly blow my mind when I see them live. Some are big bands with big sounds, some are understated folk musicians, but they all make me fall in love with the world a little more every time my heart swells alongside the crescendos of the music.  

Hmm. I saw Bon Iver, with Justin Vernon and his merry men of multi-talented musicians on Thursday night  at The Tivoli. 

The same as how I was with his music when I first stumbled across it, and how, in my own life, I was with the concepts that he deals with- it’s taken me a little time to appreciate what I witnessed.
